Jubilee Contest
|
The
special call GQ6YB was aired for the first and only time
during the unique Jubilee Contest in June 2002. The
Bristol Contest Group went all out to win this contest
operating Field Day style from one of our best local sites in
Bath. And we're pleased to say we
did win the Multi-op section of the contest.

| Thanks to the
Shirehampton Club in Bristol for the loan of their QTH.
We were surprised how well we got out from this waterside
location with just a tribander at 60ft and dipole antennas.
We repeated the experience in November from the same location.
